The latest gmail scams are being sent out via email, requesting that you confirm your account.
These of course are completely false and are a scam to collect your personal information.
Gmail and google do not request account verifications through email. They occasionally will request you login with your password, or to reverify your account using the verified phone number you have on account.
The body of the malicious emails is as folows:
